University of Utah CNC Neuro IR Suite Addition

This project included a two-story addition on the west side of the existing Clinical Neurosciences Center along with renovation of existing clinical space on Level 2. The addition accommodated essential support functions including break rooms, locker rooms, storage areas, and shelled space for future expansion. The renovation created a second neuro interventional radiology suite equipped with bi-plane technology, requiring demolition of existing functional space. The scope also included refurbishment of AHU 5 serving parts of Level 2 and Level 3, necessitating temporary air handling units during construction. Work was executed in three carefully coordinated phases within an active hospital environment, requiring strict adherence to infection control risk assessment protocols and alternate life safety measures to ensure uninterrupted patient care operations.
