SpringHill Suites by Marriott Jackson Hole

SpringHill Suites at Jackson Hole is a new, four-story, 125-room upscale hotel in downtown Jackson, WY just blocks from town square and Snow King Mountain Resort. In addition to the hotel guest rooms, the top floor features nine owner-occupied condominiums. The building is primarily a wood structure atop a post tension slab with underground parking below the hotel. The exterior is finished with wood siding and bonderized metal with the elevator and stair towers being a board formed concrete to give it a resort town feel. The hotel features a unique steel-framed canopy that wraps the first and third levels and is the first building in Jackson over three stories in height – even more unique as the fourth level condos are privately owned. Amenities include a 3,000-sf restaurant, heated outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, 24-hour fitness center, and 1,500-sf of flexible meeting space. Challenges included construction during extreme winter conditions and a site surrounded by private homeowners. Crews worked with residents and the City to minimize disruptions to the community. Crews had to coordinate and effectively communicate road closures to accommodate cranes, concrete trucks and other construction equipment needed for the project.
