Spring Creek Mine Expansion

To accommodate the mine’s newly purchased, larger trucks, project was for a 22,000-sf expansion of an existing truck shop and construction of a new a new 11,000 square-foot truck wash building. The Spring Creek Mine truck shop addition also included an entirely new lube maintenance facility. Rio Tinto needed to minimize disruptions to mine operations during construction, so Big-D took a flexible approach and coordinated with the mine’s management. The mine was able to remain in full operation for the duration of construction.
